We have all lived vicariously through a rival's opponent.

Name one time that you were really pulling for you rival's opponent and I mean REALLY pulling for your rival's opponent? I'm going to be real honest. I was really hoping Vandy would beat Ole Miss in last years opener. When Vandy went up with only seconds to go in the 4th quarter, I was loving every bit of it. I don't normally pull for the team that plays Ole Miss, I just thought it would be funny if they lost in that fashion on the very first CFB game of 2013 on national television.

I always root against about 5 or 6 teams in the SEC

I root against every team in the SEC. I was happy when Auburn lost in the ship.

Y'all give a specific example where you were really pulling for a team playing your rival school.

we don't have a rival, but I rooted for Bama, OM, UF, aTm, and Arkansas to lose every game last year.
And I only rooted for Auburn once.
And I only rooted for Auburn once.
