Has anyone received a call from a Windows Maint.about your computer?

Just hung up on some dude saying my computer needs to be checked for a security issue. 
Number was 212-063-4192 and says unavailable

I've heard of them before. Obviously a con/scam.
Very similar to the old "Congrats, you've just won an enormous sum of money you knew nothing about! Please mail your routing number and account number to the following address..."

FWIW, don't answer if it's an area code/number you don't recognize. There was a scam here recently where if you got a call from somewhere like Trinidad and answer it automatically charges you. I got a couple calls but never answered. A friend of mine did and ended up with a $40 charge on his phone bill.

It's a very obvious scam and you should hang up. They want your credit card information or access to your computer.

Yes. The guy asked if I was some name I've already forgotten. (This was a couple of weeks ago.) I said no, and he accused me of lying to him, said he knew who I was and he was trying to help with my windows security problem. I told him I used a Mac and hung up.
