For those of you who missed the FL vs TN game last night.

This is the reason FL is as good as it is. They play HARD. They are experienced and will do anything to get the W.

I love this team.

This was a ridiculous play. KY he is coming.

Really, you think they were going to call a travel on that play. The ref probably had his mouth wide open and couldn't whistle lol

Patric is 6'9". Have you ever seen anyone that size make an athletic play like that?

For FL it is the play of the freaking year. No Gator will forget that play. I thought it was, our boards were blowing up saying that, and Billy said so in the press conference.
In that game situation it was an unbelievable play that demoralized TN when they still had a chance. You couple that with Scottie's three, and TN was about to cry.

Grabbing a loose ball, at a point in the year where it is 100% guaranteed you'll make the NCAA tourney?

Ummm...ok..

At that time it was a two possession game with less than 2 mins.

Yes the game was in doubt.

Florida was up by 6 with 1:30 left...so, it was still within reach when he traveled....I mean, made the save.

Exactly, that is the point. But you want to pretend it was no big deal. He didn't have to at all, we would have probably won anyway, but that was just unreal.

The gatorcountry board absolutely blew up. How many times do you think Billy would remark on a play at the press conference and call it as such? Probably never before.

But you would have to be a Gator basketball fan to understand, and I know mutts know nothing about following successful basketball.

Wasn't even play of the night. The Bama buzzer beater was more impressive.

Making the tourney isn't really one of the goals of this team. I realize this is hard for a Georgia fan to understand.

To be fair...while Florida basketball is successful...it is a stretch to say that Florida fans follow it.

And it wasn't a travel

quote:

A player who dives and catches a loose ball on the floor may legally slide as far as his momentum carries him. This is not a travel.[13][14][15] However, once he stops he may not roll over or attempt to stand."
