He apparently just committed to Auburn. Any of you Mississippi folks know anything about him? I can't find much information on him other than he is coming out of MGCCC. Just looking for a better idea of what kind of player we just got.

Dont know anything about him but a 6'2" corner is never a bad thing.

I doubt it, but he could be. It was going to be a while before Bessent saw the field anyway, and Bridges looks like he could be more of an immediate impact, so I don't see them filling the same need.

I've never heard of him but looks like a good pick up.

I think this is the guy I watched in the MS vs AL all star game and wished we would offer

Offered two weeks ago, but I get your point... may have become a bigger priority...

Dang, why did we steal Bessent from Bama (or they let him go)

he played in last year's game... and his high school film is nasty.

didn't matter on the offer though... he was juco bound b/c of grades.

This is him. He stood out at the AL/MS game and would have had SEC offers out of HS had he been a qualifier.

He goes to the same JUCO as 2014 Auburn signees D'Haquille Williams and Derrick Moncrief, and fellow 2015 commitment Jason Smith.

Bama obviously wanted because they accepted his commitment. I don't know that they pursued him though once he started showing interest in Auburn. That could be due to heir feeling on Tony Brown rather than a strike against Bessent

Huge pickup, IMO.

Big, kind of fast, physical...

REC planted the evidence in the car. Coincidence that he was caught in a Dodge Charger? I think not.

I doubt we would have taken 3 corners last year unless all three of them are elite. No doubt we would have taken a guy like Jalen Tabor. If we would've got Jalen Tabor he might have been moved to safety. That move would not have worked with Bessent, as he is too small to put at safety, and may even be too small for corner.

A redshirt season would have changed that.

Think Walter McFadden, former Auburn cornerback.

And Jason Smith

Setting up a pipeline for 1-2 JUCOs a year from MGCCC wouldn't be a bad thing. They seem to produce most of the top level JUCOs.

He's pretty much exactly Geno Smith's size out of HS

Them and all the Kansas JUCO. It is the sweet nectar that keeps Bill Snyder's voodoo magic running
