Anybody else not too interested in the winter olympics?

The only events I care to watch are the ski jumping and the hockey. I like the ski jumping because it looks like they are flying.
When I was a kid I liked to watch the women's figure skating too because they always have really nice butts. (Imagine the underage perv I used to be.) Skating really works for their gluteus maximus. However, now days, if I feel like looking at a nice piece of derrier, I can just look at youtube or many other sites on the internet, so watching that is out.

These threads pop up every couple years
As for me, I'm always interested, though.
Go Team USA!

I couldn't care less about the summer Olympics, but I really like the winter Olympics.

i don't get quite as interested in it as the summer olympics. I still like it a lot though.
there's just not enough head to head stuff to keep me in to it as fully. too much of it is waiting around for the score, or to see how the other guy's time came out.
I remember our family staying up late and freaking out at Phelps pushing past the frenchman, watching Usain Bolt smoke the competition, Michael Johnson, Dream Team, Kerri Strug, Soccer victories, etc.
I just don't have a ton of those memories for the Winter olympics. The only head to head things are hockey, speed skating, and cross country skiing.

I don't really follow them. I may watch an event or two for a couple of hours that's about it.

The alpine events are my favorite - particularly the super G/combined events. Miller and Ligety have plenty of olympic experience. They should bring home some medals and hopefully gold.

I like some of it.
But I don't really root for America too hard.

I watch more for the T&A, I mean beauty of sport, and don't get caught up in the medal count or USA-USA stuff.
