I went to Knoxville for the 2007 game...left at halftime.

All these years, Ive been searching for a song that sums up my emotions on that day as my buddy and I drove home, hell bent on not spending another fricking dollar in that wretched state.
Finally, here it is
Edit: I forgot to mention that my wife is from Nashville, but Ive just about gotten all the creamsicle beaten of her.

I remember that day. Was on vaction in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. Thought about going to the game but ended up going to Dollywood that morning and watching the game on TV at the condo afterwards. Sucked being in that area with all the TN fans. I saw one walking down the street in Jorts and a Mullet but couldn't get my camera up in time for the pic.

Can't remember if it was 07 or 09, but they had Kenny Rogers play the halftime show.

Yeah...I just ignored it. Was the thing that cemented my opinion that the UT fan base is the least classy/educated bunch in the SEC.

Dave, you should check out some of his other songs on youtube. Offensive as hell but, he can sing and play the guitar pretty well.
Some of my favorites are: Special Ed (or Fred, depending on the version), Craig Christ, Down the Old Pub Instead, and If I Were Gay.

Also went to that game. Also left at halftime. Also got heckled relentlessly. The only thing that approached that heckling was my first trip to AU this year before the furious comeback. I was a little surprised/disappointed in the AU fans I sat around. They didn't seem top notch in their football knowledge and a couple younger guys were subtly talking shite to my old man.

Was at the 07 and 09 games. Wife is a UT grad and from Alcoa. She is a converted UGA fan now. Always stay at her moms house which is beside the airport and have to be around all those UT fans for the weekend.
Kenny Rogers played halftime of 09 and forgot the lyrics of "the Gambler" and mumbled through a whole bunch of lyrics. Even UT fans were laughing their asses off at him.
