Would he go down as the greatest college football player to ever play? Obviously his statistics would shatter everyone else's before him but would he get a natty in this time or would it not even matter?

It's safe to say he would probably own every major CFB record for QBs when he left.

I think this is the correct response.

In terms if stats? Yes
In terms if quality wins? Yes
But he would have too many losses to lsu and 1 or 2 games that are an L because of 3 + injuries while playing (such as missouri)

Well he hasn't requested draft forms and his family has all but denied him going into the draft so I guess we'll see.

Nope. Wed go 6-6 next year. And 4-8 in 2014. Just keeping up with the pattern

Of course.
But he's not coming back.
So it's just something at which to smile.

What's so funny? Neither has clowney or mariota, though I think they're all waiting until after the bowl games.

Not holding my breath on him staying and honestly I don't think he fits into sumlins system at all. Just stating what I've heard.

if he returned next year or the next two years and got a title, I think he would go down as the best player in the last 25 years at least.

Modern Peyton Manning. Tons of stats. Plenty of wins. Maybe an SEC championship. No natties. And 0-4 against his biggest rival.

He's already the GOAT whether it is a unanimous opinion or not. If I did a giant fantasy draft of every college football player to ever play, he'd be my number one pick. Therefor GOAT.
