LSU fans pulling for Bama in the Iron Bowl?

I get this impression from reading the board. If so why? Does Bama winning help LSU somehow? Nervous about AU leapfrogging LSU in the West? Battered wife syndrome?
Seems like the LSU - Bama 'rivalry' would cause the Tigahs to pull against the Tide.

I think people believe another championship drives Saban out. I don't believe this. I'd rather see the strongest team in the SEC represent the SEC though. I believe that team is Bama, but if that team is Auburn or hell, Missouri, I'm ok with that.
Malzahn is a unique coach. I think he'll do a good job for a while at Auburn. I don't think anybody is really worried about one year of Auburn football displacing a team that has been prominent most of this century in LSU. Not yet, anyway.

The entire state of bama could fall into a hole with the exception of gulf shores and orange beach and I wouldn't care. I would rather auburn win

This is an interesting theory. I obviously am hoping for the championship but might start getting a little worried.
Maybe he will see next year as a challenge with the new QB.

Saban is an odd fellow that way. I honestly believe him this time that he is staying put at Bama. We'll see. I still believe that Bama winning at representing the SEC is in the best interest of the SEC, but the SEC is at a level where we will be highly respected championship or not. I just honestly don't want to see Ohio State in the championship.

Pulling for auburn mainly because I don't want the SEC to be in the championship.

I think those are probably fans who still admire Saban and want to see him lead Alabama to the title of SEC Champion in two consecutive seasons for the first time in almost 40 years.

I just hate Auburn. And their fans. Three mascots, and always with the little brother syndrome when it comes to Bama. Literally the only team in sports I hate on the same level as Arkansas and Ole Miss. I wish Jordan-Hare would burn to the ground. I will NEVER pull for Auburn, OR those two other teams for that matter. That answer your questions?
