Alabama QB in 2014

Alabama is very fortunate AJ decided to stick around. He has been the difference maker in many big games the last few years. Replacing him in 2014 will be interesting to watch.
So who will it be?

Coker from FSU? There is some rumbling of him transferring here, but I don't know how much of that is speculation. Apparently Del Rio is current;y the #3 although he is redshirting. I would like to believe we didn't go 0-6 on scholarship QBs with P. Sims, B. Sims, McLeod, Ely, Morris, and Bateman and have to take a transfer.

GMac is better than anybody on the roster currently, IMO.

A lot of Bama fans are thinking Alec Morris will be next in line. I think it will be Cooper Bateman.

You talking about 2009 Gmac. The same Gmac we had to take out of the game and just let Ingram take direct snaps because he was so ineffective. I think you have forgotten just how bad he was for most of the year. He did get better at the end.

I think it will be Bateman too. Admittedly just based on recruiting film but he looked very polished and smart. How's he looked so far?

Next season is going to be a tough season for Alabama football fans to stomach. They're still going to be really good, but the QB position wont be nearly as strong as it's been with McElroy and McCarron. They'll have a bit of a setback.

Probably right. I was thinking 2010 GMac. He of the 350 yds passing in the first half of the iron bowl. But you're right, the winning drive the year before was pretty clutch.
