So after thinking about it and watching that Fake punt by RN think there is any chance we use him in the backfield during short yardage plays some?

Obviously the QB read worked against Vandy but if that doesn't always I feel like RN would be a good option.

If I'm not mistaken he was the HB for his highschool team and watching that fake punt I mean he was moving.

I could definitely support handing the ball to him on a 3rd and goal from the 1.

Thoughts?

And I'm not saying every time it's short yardage bringing him out. But to have it as an option. I would have to think he could fall forward for at least 1 yard.

Real talk its not a bad idea but why are you pondering this at 2 in the morning... The only reason I'm even looking at this is because I got to be the driver tonight since the library took my fake and now OMReb21 owes me BIGTIME

I think we need to say screw RSing Wilkins and make him our goal line back

We would have to put him in the formation often enough that we didn't give it to him every time. No matter how big he is, if the defense knows he's getting the ball, they will stuff him

I watched RN play RB in HS one game and he fumbled the ball like 4 times in that game.

This. I don't really trust him.

Then that is a huge negative then.

You need someone trusty down at the goal line don't need a fumble risk.

He would definitely be a better short yardage option that anybody else we have, but I doubt it happens.
