Let's say JFF is ruled out. Texas A&M's offense is now crippled and they become a running team. A&M also has two starters out on defense. Texas A&M's defense is already a huge question mark even with those two starters. Rice is a decent team and they return many starters.

What is Rice's chance of pulling the upset?

I give them a 25% chance.

The year before JFF's arrival Texas A&M was 6-6 in the weak Big 12 conference. It's not an unrealistic expectation to think A&M loses 5 games in the SEC if JFF is not allowed to play this season. They do not have enough talent without Johnny thug football.

Rice beat Kansas last year, so with out JM, aggys would be in trouble.
