I hope so. People are saying that's what he said on Instagram but other people are saying they can't find it. I don't think it's been reported by anyone credible yet but hopefully that'll change soon

Thanks

Also a reminder of why I try to avoid reading the social media conversations our players have.

Really excited about his potential. He will probably need a redshirt this year to learn the offense and adjust to the speed of the game coming from Pennsylvania, but he could be a monster next year with Coop drawing double teams.

Don't think he will redshirt. I think Falkins and Stewart will though. Took the NCAA long enough.

Falkins and OJ Howard are going to dominate the red zone.

Cooper, Black, White, Bell, Jones, Norwood, Foster, Falkins, Howard*

Oh how great it must be to throw to those guys. Just so many weapons. Hopefully we do use them all enough to take advantage of their abilities. The offense is going to be fun to watch until Saban decides we're up enough with a 35 point lead.

I'm all for letting the backups play, but let's let them really play, the QBs gain no experience by just handing it off, and the OL/WRs don't get enough out of just run blocking. At the very least if Sims comes in work on a number of option packages, just to give DCs something to think about.

If he Redshirts, then we win another NC.

Means we don't need a dynamic punt returner, a big deep threat with speed, a guy who can catch a ball in traffic, or a scoring threat on WR screens.

I think he provides skills possessed by few on this team right now. Like Howard, Henry, Allen, he projects very well for playing time.

I watched some tape on this kid...he looks very good...if AJ could play next year(I realize he'll be a senior this year)...think about the receiving corps....MAN...Could be one of the best receiving corps we've ever had..EVER

This year should be just that. We've got talent and experience. We return all of WRs from last year, and Black will be in this time as a RS Freshman after getting hurt, and White should be on taps all season long.

Then in 14 when we've got a new QB, the only WRs we should lose would be Norwood and Bell, so he'll have talent around him.

Oh I know....I'm very excited about seeing them...CFL had Chris Black #1 on breakout players this year...I'm excited about him, he was supposed to be our Amari Cooper last year lol..I'll happily take how that turned out though.

Same, though I believe it was Cooper that Saban would bring up without being asked, but I do recall Black getting just as much hype outside of CNS. I hope we really spread it out though with all the weapons we have, Cooper, Black, White, Bell, KN, Ch Jones, and Howard are all guys who, in my opinions, are threats to post a few 100 yards games, even if they haven't done it before, it's tough to do when you're playing with so many other studs in a balanced offense.

Really wanna see the playcalling and how we get everyone the ball, hopefully we go to the middle of the field more, feels like most of the passing game was near the sidelines last year, which is fine, but the only time we went inside the hashes was deep posts and throws to BMW, crossing routes tended to not be caught until the WR was outside the hashes. Would like to see more action in the middle, as long as they're gonna catch the ball and not let it get picked off of a case of the stone hands.

I agree with everything you just said...Throwing to the middle of the field and doing it well will be AJ's ticket to a top 10 pick...IMO
