Watching the State game and noticing their jersey numbers and letters are much better than their football teams. South Carolina comes to mind to. Why the disparity?

Baseball and football uniforms have been traditionally different across all levels. There may be some exceptions, but by and large they aren't exactly the same.

The Mississippi State interlocking MS has been our official baseball logo FAR longer than any of the other logos we have. Coach Polk refused to change it when we went to the M-State banner.

I would like to see MSU do their football jerseys in a similar style to their baseball team.

The Arkansas A and Ole Miss M are other examples... LSU's interlocking letters on their hat too... Baseball teams just do things differently... Always have.

Baseball has, since the beginning of time, held its own distinctions in the uniform arena. Stirrup socks, knickers, metal bladed cleats, baseball caps ... all distinctly baseball at one time or another. It's always been that way - it was the original way in America long before football became as big as it has.

South Carolina's uniforms, in particular, are throw-back uniforms in a lot of ways as we have a set of pin stripes and we use the old english interlocking fonts on the caps and jerseys with the swoosh on another set as well.

It's a baseball thing.

Can someone do a photoshop of MSU football jerseys with the baseball lettering? Specifically the numbers?
