Josh Malone Update per Tennessee's 247 (WR, Gallatin TN)

Per the latest 247 insider article. The leaders in the clubhouse appear to be VOLS, Georgia, and Clemson. Someone close to the recruitment was quoted as saying Tennessee has a slight lead, but his recruitment is still wide open. No current time table on a committment, I wouldn't be surprised if it went to NSD.
Malone is the number 38 player overall on Rivals and number 95 Overall on 247. Consensus ****. Holds an offer from literally every school that matters.
All 14 SEC schools and USC, Nebraska, Michigan, Ohio State, UCLA, Notre Dame etc...

yes. it's 11 spots down from the Alabama board, under the section titled "Team Forums." Not sure if you have access to post there, but you can definitely read it.

Get this shite off of here. Seriously, we don't need an update about every damn player you are recruiting. Take this to the vol board. When he commits then feel free to post it here. This is getting out of hand.

I would say this is relevant to UGA as much as it is to Tennessee. As he's very high on their board, and sky rocketed to number two or tied with Tennessee after his visit last weekend.
the 12 other SEC schools appear to be out of contention, for now.

Did UT solve the problems with his mom. UGA sites have been saying he's looking to go out of state because his mom doesn't want him instate (or something along those lines)

I think UT is going to have to show mom some that they can actually win first. She seems to be concerned that the Vols program is in shambles and Malone will have a better opportunity at UGA.
If they can quell her fears there, it'll really be a battle. Right now I think he is pretty much ours to lose with UT #2.

I'm pretty certain that UT leads but UGA established itself as a very real threat when he made his visit.
