Apparently we have a rivalry with Mississippi State as well. I'd gladly accept an official rivalry with Georgia. It just makes too much sense not to be rivals with them IMO
ETA: The Miss State rivalry has been edited out

Oh My God/// can you believe a Carolina fan got on wikipedia and added this bullshite?
Why would that be included in the UGA wikipedia page?
South Carolina really really really wants to be UGA's rival.
quote:
The Bulldogs have three main football rivals: Auburn, Florida, and Georgia Tech. All three rivalries were first contested over 100 years ago, though the series records are disputed in two cases. Georgia does not include two games from 1943 and 1944 against Georgia Tech (both UGA losses) in its reckoning of the series record, because some of Georgia's players were in World War II. Georgia also includes a game against one of the four predecessor institutions of the modern University of Florida in 1904 (a Georgia win) that national sportswriters[30][31][32] and Florida's athletic association do not include. Georgia has long-standing football rivalries with other universities as well, with over 50 games against five additional teams. Since the formation of the SEC Eastern Division in 1992, Georgia has had an emerging rivalry with the Tennessee Volunteers. The Georgia–South Carolina football rivalry has been a game of increasing importance; South Carolina won the SEC Eastern Division championship in 2010, Georgia in 2011 and 2012.[28]

I spy 3 East teams alone that we don't consider rivals at all.

From the new South Carolina Wiki page...

And...

n 2011, Spurrier led South Carolina to its most successful season in program history. The Gamecocks posted an 11-2 overall record, went 6-2 in SEC play, and defeated #20 Nebraska in the Capital One Bowl to earn Final Top 10 rankings in the AP and Coaches' Polls (#9 and #8, respectively). Along the way, Carolina defeated Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, and Clemson, the first time in program history that the Gamecocks beat the "Big 4" in consecutive seasons. Despite these milestones, South Carolina finished 3rd in the Eastern Division of the SEC, behind Georgia and Florida.
And...

n 2012 Steve Spurrier, once again, led his South Carolina football team to double-digit wins during the course of the regular season campaign. The 2012 regular season culminated with the annual season-ending game against arch rival Clemson at Clemson's Memorial Stadium. Spurrier and his Gamecocks emerged with a fourth consecutive double-digit victory over the Tigers - a victory which was marked by Spurrier winning his 65th game at Carolina and, in doing so, becoming the winningest coach in Gamecock football history surpassing Rex Enright's 64 win total. Spurrier led the Gamecocks to a thrilling 33-28 victory in the Outback Bowl against the winningest program in college football, the Michigan Wolverines. The victory elevated the Gamecocks to an 11-2 record for the 2nd consecutive season. Additionally, by finishing 8th in the Associated Press poll and 7th in the Coaches poll, South Carolina finished in Top 10 of both polls for a 2nd consecutive campaign. Again, just like the year before, all of these accomplishments resulted in the Gamecocks finishing the season 3rd in the Eastern division of the the SEC, behind Georgia and Florida.

List is wrong. Only ones we consider rivals are Florida, Tech, Auburn, and Tennessee listed in order of importance of the rivalry.
Every other team on that list are not our rivals. Some idiot fan of one of those teams obviously edited Wikipedia without knowing what in the Hell they are talking about.

Your people started this, editing the UGA page.
Do you have no reading comprehension? Did you even graduate USC or are you just another goatee national on the sidewalk?

You really are a goatee'd sidewalk moron. It's all here in this 1 page thread, and you are asking me for a link. I know good people who are graduates from USC, and they are good people, smart people. You obviously haven't graduated from Carolina. And if you have, don't admit it. It will take credibility away from your fellow alumni.
