So I got burgled today...

First thing I did when I get home was go to my Apple TV to stream watchESPN through my iPad and Apple TV to my living room TV...IT'S GONE. Then I notice my dog is gone.
So I'm thinking at this point that one of my buddies are phucking with me. Call them up, noone's been by the house.
Mind you of course I left the front door unlocked this morning on my rush out the door.
The robber only took my Apple TV, a wall charger, and my older iPad with a very broke but still functional screen. They even knew to find the tiny metal remote that controls the Apple TV.
Long story short, lesson learned: lock the damn doors. Found the dog on the next street over, he has shite all over his arse (weird) but had to file a report with the police about the stolen goods.
I could care less about the items, what pisses me off is that someone had the balls to actually do this in my nice new neighborhood.

Somebody that lives near you either helped steal or help orchestrate the event. Over 90% chance.. Keep your head on a swivel and trust your instincts. You can most likely figure out who or someone close that knows who did this..

Some burglars will target the nicer neighborhoods because:
A) everyone assumes it's safe and stupid people don't lock their doors
B) the things inside of the house are going to be worth more than poor neighborhoods
About 5 or 6 houses in my neighborhood got broken into a few years ago- never caught the guy

Dang man sorry to hear that. Sadly it isn't the 1950's so you have to lock just about everything. Get a big arse put bull and that'll be the last time anyone has the balls to come into your house.

Thanks guys. Yeah he/she just let my dog out, but the shite makes me think they scared the shite out him.
Everything points to this guy with a drug problem that lives with his mom two doors down, but I hate to point fingers. It's just weird because my laptop sitting right there is worth twice what was taken, of course it would have been a lot harder to hide under his shirt/whatever.
I really do appreciate all the love. I know it's just the violation of space that makes me feel like my entire house has been rubbed down with penis
