She was arrested for extortion under the Hobbs Act.
She's been under investigation for the past year or so by state auditors for selling bonds (state investments) before they matured. I'm sure the two are related.

Sounds like she was thugging and bugging politico style.
Extortion... every politician that makes any sort of concession or agrees to vote for bills with porkbelly projects going to thier district could be hit with extortion. She was either stupid in allowing herself to say the wrong things and be recorded while doing it, or she ruffled feathers and had to be handled.
