Vandy has Fr Walker Buehler on the mound has looked good through 4 innings get this one and VU has Ziomek and Beede going back to back with a. Shot to break USCe overall SEC wins record.

Buehler was on most of the night. Would really love another sweep heading into Hoover

Incredibly impressed by Vandy. On the other hand, I'm proud of Bama fighting back. It was 6-0 in the 4th and I assumed it would be a 12-0 final and was shocked to see the final score.
I hear you on wanting a sweep but how about giving Bama a win. We're a lock to get into the NCAA regionals (probably as a 3 seed somewhere) with one win and a 14-15 SEC record and a respectable overall record. I'm afraid a Vandy sweep and a 13-16 SEC record would put us squarely on the bubble and in danger of being left out of the NCAA field. Vandy has already set an SEC record for wins and won the conference. Nothing left to prove in conference.

The truth is that it's man against boys in this series. Vandy is as elite now in baseball as Bama is in football. We simply don't belong on the diamond with you guys. I just think we need to avoid a sweep this weekend to ensure an NCAA bid.

Alabama has a young team and a lot of fight. I'm not into moral victories but 7 extra innings games against Top 25 teams this season. I'm excited about a regional this year and more next year.

If pitching could improve a few levels, we could be very good. We too often panic and give up 5 run innings, followed by our hitters overcompensating and doing nothing.
