Is Marlon Humphrey pretty much a lock to Bama, then?
We have a small connection (I think our DC played w/ his dad) and I don't expect it to result in a commitment or even an OV but a guy can dream can't he?

I hate the term "lock" because we're talking about high school kids, but, he seems to be the closest thing to a lock.

After Nkemdiche(I know not from Bama) and Winston most Bama fans don't believe in "locks". Kids will do what they do. Losing Scarborough or Humphrey would be huge to me, not getting Winston was worse than not getting Nkemdiche just because of Winston proximity to campus.

pretty sure he was... he played for a state championship as an 8th grader... from an athleticism standpoint (which is what the recruiting rankings are based on), he had it all. Best HS QB I've ever seen, personally.

I think this is an inappropriately named thread. It should be, "Last 5* from AL to not go to UAlabama"
