1. Notre Dame
2. Clemson
3. Alabama
4. LSU
5. Oregon

Let's forget the polls and media bias that goes along with them, who are your top 5 football teams in America. See above for mine, I'm not sure there's anyway you could argue against it.

My rankings based on overall body of work obviously adjusted after the remaining bowl games:

1. Oregon - lost to a very good Stanford team in OT. Unstoppable offense and solid defense.
2. Alabama - lost to a very good A&M team
3. ND - no losses but mediocre play vs mediocre teams
4. Stanford - only losses, close games to ND and Wash.
5. Georgia - blown out on the road by an very good SC team, and close lose to Bama in SECCG
6. Florida - lost to UGA and looked bad vs Louisville, no offense
7. LSU - close losses to Bama, Florida and Clemson, all good teams
8. A&M - beat #1 Bama with close losses to Florida and LSU. Probably should be ranked higher. We will know more after the Cotton Bowl.
9. SC - got owned by Florida, close loss to LSU but quality wins over Georgia and Michigan.
10. Kansas St. - overrated with blowout losses to Baylor and Oregon but with quality wins over, OU, TT, Okie St. and Texas.

Valid. I didn't remember that game correctly; should have checked. It was just a 2 point margin, 23-21.

HAHAHA...fail ranking based on your OWN write-up

1. Bama
2. ND - looked like crap in 3 games against crap teams. Shoulda lost to Pitt but a missed 33 yarder cost Pitt
3. Oregon - Still don't think they deserve it, but no one else fits this spot better
4. UGA
5. USCe
6-120: toss ups
