Is there a rule that says the Sugar Bowl can't take 2 SEC teams (if no other SEC team has already been taken by BCS bowls of course)?
With six of the top nine ranked teams why wouldn't the Sugar Bowl take two of those (that didn't play during the regular season).
Georgia vs. Texas A&M
Alabama vs. Florida

If everything stays as is it should be Bama v ND in the Sugar Bowl. That would be awesome

always fun beating the Irish in the Sugar. Was kinda hoping LSU could drum them there...

No, but it's not going to happen that way
I'd much rather see two SEC teams that didn't play during the season match up in the Sugar Bowl.
Clemson's biggest win was against Duke.
Clemson lost by 2 TDs in its only game against a ranked team.
ETA: Hell, I'd rather see La. Tech in the Sugar Bowl rather than Clemson.

Seems like the Fiesta would grab ND before the Sugar could. Or someone told me that was the order, I think

Alabama-Notre Dame would be a harder ticket to get than the BCSNC

If Bama beats UG and UF beats FSucks. Bama will play in the Sugar vs ND and UF will play in the Orange vs Clemson. If UG wins, they get the Sugar. If UF loses, they fall to Outback.

Unless things have changed, the BCS can only take 2 from a single conference. Technically, the Sugar could take both, but it would make no sense at all. The conference would totally oppose it, as it guarantees a loss for one of its' teams. Last year was different as it guaranteed one team would win the BCS.

due to the order of selection there really is zero chance of this. You'd have to have one of the higher priority bowls take multiple screwball picks like Clemson and Stanford ahead of the SEC #2.

notre dame will not play in the Sugar this year unless somehow Bama climbs back to #1. They are going to be the first at large selected

FSU will be in orange whether you beat them or not.. they will win ACC.

It won't
ND will be long gone before the sugar gets their pick.

Bama will play in the Sugar vs ND

UF will play in the Orange vs Clemson

And if USCe does it right Clemson will not make the Sugar

Probably right. Unless ND loses to USCw
