I think that should go to Bill Snyder of KSU noone and I mean noone has done more with less in the last 20 years of college football. Go look up the recruiting rankings and compare to the top teams now.

Ok

Let's not forget your program wouldn't be where it is now without him.

Kind of apples and oranges considering the programs and resources.

FWIW

1- Sabear
2- Synder

... but both great in their own way

Recruiting success should be considered when figuring out the best "coach". Saban recruits well and has his team ready to play.

So, I think the "best" coach title should go to Saban. That being said - Snyder is a hell of a coach. Wish he was much younger and coached UGA.

that is best recruiter...best coach is someone who can take a bunch of nobodies and turn them into winners.

When one considers what makes a football coach the best, why is on the field production usually the only factor that is considered?

Saban's ability to consistently recruit high caliber players and his ability to get them to buy in to the program should not be discounted.

Snyder is certainly one of the greats, but "doing more with less" should not be the only criteria.

I'm not saying Saban is not a great coach, but you can't deny what Snyder has done with very limited resources. I just think it is easier to succeed at places like LSU and certainly UA.

Now AU has assumed this position.

the real question is do you think Saban could win a National Championship at Kansas State.

I will give one thing to Snyder; do you guys know how hard it has to be to build a consistent winning program in KANSAS. He has built something special there, and there is no doubt he is one of the best in the country.
