It's too early to tell, but if Tennessee has a better team than auburn will it prove Dooley is making the right decision on the recruiting front?

None of his classes have been rated nearly as good as Chiziks but he has developed what looks to be a solid team.

If they compete for the East while auburn backslides it will prove solid players combined with player development is the most important coaching trait.

He cannot recruit an elite RB or pass rusher. Pretty big problem in this league.

Everything else looks pretty solid, but he needs to pick it up in this class.

A team can go a long way with great quarterback play.

Wait until Dooley loses Bray, Hunter, and Patterson on offense, though...

Based on what? A true freshmen quarterback that looked light years better than any other freshmen quarterback in the SEC?

Runningback I agree because they can step in early and make a huge impact, but there is no to tell if he has an elite pass rusher or not. Curt Maggit isn't Clowney, but he is very good.

His choice to remove DaRick Rogers from the team will pay dividends down the road.

It will be interesting to watch the UT vs UF game this year.

I actually agree. I'm a Bray homer though who thinks he's the greatest thing since sliced bread. I don't think there's a QB in college football with his arm (now smarts is another thing).

Tennessee is stacked with 4*s behind CP and J-Hunt, but they are unproven I guess. I am not really worried about the future at WR.

QB we have Peterman, Ferguson, and Worley, but I am not sold on that group really at all.

Worley doesn't have the arm strength to make it in this league, imo. He might be able to win a few games if the rest of the team is carrying him, but that's not how we are built right now. I haven't really seen Peterman.

I'll believe it when I see it. I don't see any reason to believe Dooley has the ability to turn Tennessee into a consistent contender.

Tennessee has always been able to land a quality QB.

Heck, Tajh Boyd was committed until Kifin ran him off.

Wasn't his choice.

I certainly agree with this, but I do believe the roster is "solid". Far from a championship product, but possibly better than Auburn's.

You have to remember the goal for Worley was to redshirt last year. Bray worked with first team the very first day of spring when he arrived. Worley took things easy until Bray got hurt.

I expect defense to take control next year if those guys actually leave and Worley will game manage. Itll be the second year in the system, and the defense will be returning everybody except two starters.
