Florida isn't leaving our schedule...We'll still play Florida twice every six years. And we'll also play USC/Tenn/UGA more often than under a 6-1-1 model.

SOS won't move at all (actually might improve in years where we draw UGA and Florida) ...we'll be basically playing the same schedule, just rotating Both gamesinstead of having a permanent and one rotator

Yu do realize my proposal is to keep the Aub-UGA and bama-tenn game, right?

That's fine, but why would you want to lose the UF game? That's what I'm not understanding. Yes, the SEC is now a 14 team league, but there are long standing yearly matchups. Why would LSU want to drop a 50 year rivalry to go to Kentucky, Vanderbilt or Missouri? Doesn't make sense. It honestly seems like other fans have more confidence in LSU than it's own fans do.

It's not about "losing Florida"

It's about wanting to actually play teams in our league more than twice a decade

Like I said, LSU will STILL be playing Florida (and also playing everyone else in the East more)

Why is LSU-Florida any more important than LSU-tenn or LSU- UGA or LSU-USC?

Bama and auburn obviously want to play those teams, so why is it not ok for LSU to want to play those teams more?

I am not in favor of this as there is no way we can hold our own against Vanderbilt every year in the spelling Bee contest. We are going to get crushed.

Be real. You're dropping a national powerhouse in order to get a weaker opponent. You think that's gonna go unnoticed?

So UGA/Tenn/USC are "weaker opponents" than Florida?

Because that's who Florida is being "replaced" with 3/6 years (2 of those 6 years Florida will Still be on the schedule FWIW, maybe even in conjunction with one of those other 3)

USC? Yeah they've always been weak in football. As it stands now they are all weaker. Let's not forget about the East opponents that you want: Vandy, Kentucky, and Mizzou. As far as playing UG and UF in the same year like you stated, how often will that happen? Once in twenty years?
