I've actually noticed that you've started more interesting (not just with regard to Alabama) threads recently.

To be 100% honest, I can't stand the reputation I've obtained here. That's because if you knew me in person, you'd never know I was "CFBFan1121".

My online persona is totally opposite of who I am and I didn't like it. I'm the coolest, most down to earth guy you could meet.

I started a thread the other week joking about Bama finally getting off probation, other than that, I haven't started in flame thread in ages.

Besides, cant really say too much when your rival just thumped you 48-14 and won another ship

At least it was on a message board. Sometimes it's just fun to say to people things you think in your head but would never actually say in real life.

Eh, Saban follows money, so Saban can have his money. He's done enough for whatever salary he gets.

They could be paying him double what he's making right now and he would still be underpaid.

It's really mindboggling, the amount of revenue the University is taking in and how close it is to Ohio St and Tx. Especially when you factor in the population of those two states they have available for fans and support they can tap into as compared to the numbers in Bama.

Saban is worth every dime and you could double his salary and still get your money's worth. Although i would bet that the biggest reason for the increase is the two expansions done to the stadium that added all the suites.

A better question would be, how much should Derek Dooley have to donate to the school to make it worth having him as head coach?

It pains me to say it, but Bama could pay him $15 million/year and he would be worth it.

It is also mindboggling that the State of Alabama has won the last 3 NCs and had 2 Heisman winners during that time.

Didn't we have this same discussion about Petrino before the wreck?

Didn't we decide he was worth wwhat he was being paid too?

Saban is worth it and Mal Moore ought to go all Deloss Dodds and force some of the bottom feeders to kick in a little.
