quote: Yes, we are getting more commitments in basketball than football Reply Back to Top |
| Ehhh, I figured he would be a later addition if bigger prospects didn't commit. Smallish(probably 5-9) and not the quickest cat, but he could turn out to be a serviceable player. Probably 3rd best PG in Arkansas for '13 behind Lee and Watkins(you guys should have offered him instead) Reply Back to Top |
quote: Is he really THAT BAD? All I know is that he plays for our ast coach Flannigan's dad. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Definitely not one of the top instate players but I wouldn't say that he is bad. Reply Back to Top |
| He isn't bad, just a player I wouldn't take right now, because he would be there later. Reply Back to Top |
quote: I just watched his new video and he handles the ball really well, gets to the rim, and can shoot really good. 'Lil General LINK I also heard we offered and are in good shape with his teammate Anton Beard. This post was edited on 5/9 at 10:47 pm Reply Back to Top |

| I don't believe we offered him... Reply Back to Top |
| Surely you're not implying that bundy's info about a recruit is incorrect? Reply Back to Top |
quote: No. Georgetown and Arkansas at the top right now, per Beard himself. Reply Back to Top |
| Not impressed with this kid or the other point guard we signed. These guys better be smart as shite or something. Reply Back to Top |
| What TDs said. Reply Back to Top |
| In a motion you have to have a smart PG so that may be what Rick is looking for. Someone that will run the offense and pass first. Reply Back to Top |

| You're right. Which also means it could be misleading cause I'm sure he has improved since then. I will say this we need to pick up several talented big guys this season. Another thing I'm excited to see Borchert this year. Saw him play at EMCC, kid will be a beast in a 4 out and 5 out motion. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Borchert is legit, I wouldn't be surprised if he averages 10ppg or more next year Reply Back to Top |
| Have you seen him play Al? I was overly impressed with his 3-point shooting touch. He is the perfect 4 man for a 4-out motion offense. He is going to cause matchup problems offensively. Don't be surprised to see a 5-out motion with Zeidaks, Borchert, whoever gets the 3-man job, Steele and Davis/Bloodman at the point. In a 5-out, it will cause the big guys to come out and guard Zeidaks and Borchert on the perimeter, opening up the middle of the court for easy backdoor cut layups. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Only his YouTube highlight video. I have a buddy who coaches college ball and he has been talking about Borchert for months. Said he's gonna be a good fit at State. I wouldnt be surprised if Craig Sword ends up starting. This post was edited on 5/13 at 5:48 pm Reply Back to Top Refresh |
