Nkemdiche has not had much contact with the MSU coaching staff this year. So why is he choosing Ms State?
Robert Nkemdiche, a 6-foot-5, 260-pound defensive end from Loganville, Ga., fired off the message on his Twitter account Saturday night. Like any recruiting revelation, the tweet generated a firestorm of activity on Internet message boards.
And it's true, Nkemdiche said Tuesday. The once-in-a-generation prospect, a quick-footed behemoth labeled by some national pundits as the best prospect in the Southeast since the 1980s, wants to visit Mississippi State.
"Of course," Nkemdiche said.
Why?
That's where the story gets interesting for the Grayson High star.
Nkemdiche, the son of Nigerian immigrants, was born in Atlanta and lives in the same home as Nick Schuessler, his high school quarterback and a recent MSU signee.
Nkemdiche moved into the Schuesslers' home less than two years ago, when he arrived at Grayson High as a ninth-grader. Nkemdiche's mother, Beverly, is a representative in the congressional assembly of the Nigerian state of Anambra. His father, Sunday, is a physician in Atlanta.
"He's like my brother," Schuessler said. "He's my closest friend and we always joke around about getting to play side by side. We're getting serious and now he's considering it. All I can do is keep hoping and praying so I don't have to face him on the other side of the ball."

The same reason he's mentioned USC, Texas, and Vandy. Twitter followers. Let me ask you this. If having Nick is giving you such an inside edge in landing Rob, why is he just now mentioning state? Why hasn't he visited? He's been to OM 3 times, seems like he knew his roommate committed to state way back in feb. Why is he just now mentioning him? For attention you idiots. If he actually visits MSU, y'all can pretend all you want that y'all have a chance, until then you're being tards

Good this is much better than Saban landing him. He'll be a star at least at State he won't have any help on his side.

Yeah huh! Haven't you heard? Quaysus and Nick James are the best DL in the conference.
