How will he help Stafford?

he is a student of the game...competitor...capable back-up...hard worker...winner. Is that a sufficient answer?

wow, just wow. hearing it at the beginning of the season me and some of the boys on the bayou thought J.J. would certainly get drafted

Really? Like at the beginning of this season? The way I remember it, more thought was given if he was going to do jail time as compared if he was going to be drafted into the NFL. BTW, what bayou are you talking about?

Most boys on the bayou would have rather seen J Lee behind center.

nice, hope and wish him the best...

however, isn't it funny - didn't even play in the BCS national championship game but was picked up before the guy who started, hmmm!

Because he actually does have some potential in a pro system, unlike Jefferson. Let's not forget that Lee spent four springs in Gary Crowton's offense and then went like 6 games last year without throwing an INT. He improved tremendously last year... Miles just obviously had a hard-on for Jefferson and that option offense.

It's amazing how few people remember this. He was a pretty good quarterback the first half of this year.
