Wow...I just got off work and I come home and see these. Those are badass. I just wonder if we are getting special jerseys for that first helmet. I've been wanting a matte finish.

The Powder Blue helmets started when the company who made our helmets painted them the wrong color on accident one year and we got them too late to change out before game 1 and we ended up liking them.
FWIW....we originally got our red jerseys from Alabama when we couldn't afford new jerseys. Bama gave us a set of their practice jerseys. (Not sure what year but I know for sure it was before the 1940's and possibly before the 30's.)

I don't mind the powder blue helmets....well for one or two games. If for one game, it needs to be for the Egg Bowl.

I really don't care which game they use different uniforms OTHER than for the LSU games. God help them if they change anything about our uni's that game.

I like the dark helmets to counter that bright, red jersey. To me, every thing about that uni combo is 100% correct. Dark blue, red, and grey.

Not saying it doesn't....but I like the dark blue with that red a lot more.
