He was definitely choking up. I thought he was going to try and pull the sympathy vote.

I especially like it when he was asked to make his case that his team impressed the voters enough to get into the MNC. Nick said, "We don't worry about that kind of stuff. We came here to dominate the game and we did that. This team lost one game to probably the best team in the country in overtime so everybody's got to make their own decision about that."
