I'm only 21 so my perception of Alabama might be a little different than some of you older/wiser folk. They haven't been all that dominant since I could understand what was actually going on. The team has been pretty bad but even when they are good there seems to always be a hiccup or two. Obviously 2009 was AWESOME but i remember having doubt in certain games and just an overall feeling of maybe they'll win, but maybe not. Same thing goes for 2008.

That being said does this team not seem like they just have...IT? Whatever "it" is? A defense won't get all that much better than what they have this year and the offense can run with the best of em. Talent wise they can obviously win any game. But I just have a feeling like there are guys on the team that WILL NOT let the team fail. No revenge factor or playing "over their heads" due to having a chip on their shoulder. They just seem like they know they are the best therefor they're gonna play like they are and prove it. Thoughts?

I know LSU is damn good and has just as good a chance to win on 11.5 as Alabama, I'm not THAT delusional. Bama just always has moments that make me go "WTF were they thinking there!?!?!?" and I don't think thats happened yet.

Sorry for this monster of a post I don't get to talk football with anyone out here in Arizona. Everyone hates the SEC. Anyways good luck to LSU and everyone else. Can't wait to see how it all plays out

As a good as the Bear was, Saban is making a good run at being up there with him if he stays long enough. Enjoy it while you can because as long as Saban is there bama will win a lot of games.

I honestly hope the winner doesn't come out of that game so beat up that they slip to another team. It will be an emotional, physical dogfight and anything could happen.

Bama's D is very good, and Mccarron is coming along. TR is a top 2-3 RB and will be a high draft pick.

Can Lee stay healthy and not get rattled? I have a feel that JJ will play a HUGE part in the game plan.

Yep, I know what you mean. No matter how good a team is, the odds are against them going undefeated (unless they play in whatever conference that Boise State is in). But, I'm 34 and this team seems like is has as good a shot at winning out as any in my lifetime.

This has been discussed to death, but no one has come up with a job that would be a clear upgrade for Saban, and a reason to leave Alabama. Mal Moore would match any offer by any other team monetarily to keep Saban here. He'll probably stay a while yet.

this is the same feeling have for LSU this year. They've been super talented recently and had great years in '03 and '07, but you can just tell something is different this year. They have the "it" factor. The team more cohesive, focused, and determined than any LSU team I've seen.

Don't wanna turn this into a Saban leaving thread but you just never know what a guy is thinking. But even if he left after this year I'd say thanks and move on. What else could we do?

Regardless, enjoy this season. It won't be like this next year. Next year we reload the whole damn thing.

I know. I'm not even upset about it either. Though it will be different.

just hope we are on the winning end. All this speculation and bantering beforehand is useless... Needless... And worst of all classless.

I suggest we get ready to throw a big arse Louisiana-Alabama food liquor monster part until kickoff. What's the fun in talking trash? I think the real question is...where will the bitches be? And why are we not talking them out of their clothes? That's where we'll be if we act like douchers before the game.

If you're returning the majority of your team next year, we won't be able to hang with you. We really do lose a ton after this season.
