That is really sick. And he averaged 32ppg, that means he wasn't jacking up shots every time he got the ball.
I think this is the best recruit we have ever signed.

He scored 17 points in the McDAA game, on the winning team, highest scorer of his team playing 21 minutes.

The district he's in produces a lot of talent. It's a large catholic school league in St Louis, it's pretty legit.

Ron Crawford, local AAU guy that coaches Arky's Elite team said he was the best player in America no doubt

He is legit. Played better than Austin in the AAU tourney games I saw.

Beal is the real deal.

But it will be Anthony Davis and Beal that will fight it out for SEC Frosh POY.

Hate to tell you...but the evaluation of the Parade group has gone for shite the past 5-10 years.

Rivals and Scout seem to evaluate these guys to a science and it is not as political as Parade.

You mean that same game where UK's Michael Gilchrist was Co-Player of the Game.

Beal will be a great player if his teammates will let him be. If Walker and Co. get trigger happy, it's not going to matter if he's Michael Jordan if he doesn't get the ball.

Ok, well Beal made that list also. They evaluated him alright? I'm thinking they must have liked what they saw in D.J. He was on CBS yesterday in the HS 3 pt shoot out.

Beal was the best player on the East, that much was clear.

And Beal is Ray Allen 2.0, I can't wait to see him in O&B. The kid is pure gold. Not only is he an outstanding player, but he is a great student, and does a lot of charity work. Will fit in perfectly at Florida who plays TEAM ball.

The comment regarding Walker's play is complete bullchit. Yes he made a crucial mistake at the end against Butler, but the kid has been a team player. Billy Ball is TEAM play.

Klong, go ahead and drink the Parade AA koolaid, but making the list is weak sauce. It is the Rivals and Scout list that has better evaluation process and actually follows the players careers.

I always thought that as well, and really still do. However, I wonder if I am letting the hype have undue influence because of the very few times I have seen them play, I have been slightly more impressed with Beal.

Bradley Beal is > than Austin Rivers. Austin Rivers takes way too many shots, and is a spoiled brat. Also gets all the press because of daddy. So I was actually surprised the better player won the award, and not the more famous brat.
