Steve Bartman has a terrible place in Chicago Cubs history, but the team has hopefully erased that by giving the infamous Cubs fan a World Series ring...

There were 5 other people reaching for that ball. He was just the unlucky one who happened to be right in its path. Every person would have instinctively reached for a ball heading right for them.
