Orgeron revealed Friday what’s been reported since November: He was after then-Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin as his next offensive coordinator.
“We were looking at Lane Kiffin. He was going to come. He got a head (coaching) job,” Orgeron said.
Kiffin left Alabama in December and landed the head coaching gig at Florida Atlantic.
