The Daily Reveille first reported on Tuesday night that LSU wide receiver Travin Dural will have surgery on a torn hamstring in his right leg and will likely miss the rest of the season.

Junior wide receiver Travin Dural is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the 2015 season, due to a torn hamstring in his right leg. Dural will have surgery on the tear this week, and recovery time for the injury will be roughly 3-4 months, according to a source.

Dural injured his hamstring during the Ole Miss game after he leaped for a pass in the endzone and came down awkwardly on his back.

The junior wide receiver from Breaux Bridge, LA sent out the following message on Twitter:

Dural has 28 receptions for 533 yards and three touchdowns on the season.

The DB should've been called for targeting a defenseless receiver on the play and ejected. The DB ran under him and flipped him when he could've just let him fall in his own.

That was one of many, many blown calls from that game.

I still support the death penalty for referee who screw LSU.

I don't know what was going on with Harris but he was throwing a lot of high balls at the Ole Miss game. And guys, stop bashing him. I am sure he already feels bad enough about Dural getting hurt and losing the past 3 games. I still think he has all the tools to be a talented QB. He just needs a QB coach to develop those tools.
