LSU has added Nicholls State to the 2020 home schedule, according to The Advocate:

LSU will host Nicholls State in 2020 in what will be the first meeting between the schools, LSU associate athletic director Verge Ausberry confirmed to The Advocate on Wednesday.

The Tigers and Colonels will meet at Tigers Stadium, but a specific date has not been set. HoumaToday.com first reported the news.

I would much rather play the in-state cupcake schools than out-of-state ones. LSU could sell more tickets and football programs in the state of LA would prosper.

LSU already has a "neutral" site game scheduled in 2020 at NRG Stadium vs. Rice. And I'm pretty sure its not hard to schedule a Ball State.
