Herman>Saban: The man who already owns Saban is Tom Herman. On the way to the 2014 CFNC, Herman beat Saban with a 3rd string QB playing in his 2nd game and then made Saban Pay him to tell him how he did it. He led OSU to #3, #12, #1 finishes in 3 yrs. His only stumble was to CLEM OC Chad Morris, now at SMU, who is Herman's football equal. Herman & Morris have both owned Fisher with their RPO DTQB HUNH/Spread attacks. Herman, a Cum Laude Mensa graduate would be the PERFECT COMBINATION of Athletics & Academics to unify LSU, the Face of Football & Faculty. He took a 73rd ranked Roster with only 2 4* recruits, 5'10" 175 lb QB Greg Ward, who had only 1 less rushing TD than LF, and beat FSU, finishing 8th. Opening 2016 with a dominating win over #3 OKLA he is currently ranked 6th with a 70th ranked roster, and Greg Ward is 5th in the Heisman polls. Miles/Cam left the school unranked with #2 SEC, #5 national Roster, no Top 10 finishes in 4 yrs, a 11-11 SECW, and 15-11 SEC record - the worst Coaching vs Talent Gap in the AP Polls.

Not Jimbo

Herman could potentially create a Dynasty with the talent level that comes through campus

Is David Shaw listed in Bovada odds? Charles Hanagriff seemed to talk about Shaw's qualifications; which seemed to be impressive. Also, Stanford's style will be easy to adapt to LSU.

I love coach O. But if anyone would not take Herman, you must not want LSU to be as good as they can be. If you've been watching college football, you know that Herman is far and away our number one choice for years of success.

Jimbo / Herman. Get the deal done.

How are we so sure Herman even wants the job? God forbid - his priorities may be more than money.

Willie Tagert. 6-1. That's rich. Absolutely 0% chance of that happening.

I'm still not convinced that Herman and Fisher will come to LSU. Personally I like Ed O and am pulling for him.

I'm reserving judgement until I give O a chance at this thing. I'm pulling for him to turn this thing around. I really want to see him successful at whatever he does, and it really hope that's at LSU.

That is honestly the most rational thing to do. I wish most people would stop speculating so much... just wait to see how this thing plays out.

If he changes this team around in this amount of time he deserves it imo. That and what better man than him?? He knows Louisiana better than anyone out there. He can relate to the people and he could also shut any negetive things going on behind the scenes down in a hurry!! He has those connections and ties and is a no nonsense type of guy so no one is going to challenge him and if they did I think he could handle it quite well lol. I think he will do it. This pro style can work if you use ALL your talent and the whole field. Quite worrying about percentages and what works to perfection in practice bc it's not translating into games. That's how Les and Cam ran this offense. It was based off of percentages of what worked in the past and then add a few wrinkles here and there. That's exactly why teams new what was going to happen. Where did the fake dive to the FB then toss go bc that would have scored against Auburn probably every time we got in the redzone. Need to have plays over the middle when you get close and give the QB the option to run also. The RPO's everyone talks about would work REALLY well when inside the 20 for LSU. Between the 20's we just need to run our regular offense but with a mix. Stop throwing deep to MD bc he isn't man enough to go up and get it. At least not so for this year. I would be practicing jump balls all freakn week bc they need to. That's what they need to practice is those small things in practice. Stripping, jump balls, one on one tackling in space, goalline or short yardage stops, getting hands up on 3rd and long, turning for the ball for DBs, holding YOUR gap at all cost, making the one man miss for backs and punt return/kick return, ect. These are the specialty plays LSU needs to work their arse's off on this week and going forward. We become elite with these situations and LSU is going to win tons of games and look very damn good doing it. GT

I hope it is Orgeron. And no, not because I think it will make LSU easy to beat. I think he would be great for the SEC.

Coach O is a great recruiter and did a good job filling in at USC. He is not head coach material.

He has been in the SEC already as a head coach.

Tom Herman.

If you can get Herman, then make the move for him. Other than that, I say stick with Coach O. He'll bring in a quality OC that will be innovative and can produce quality QB play. This is assuming the season turns around. If we run the table and win the SEC, the NC isn't out of reach.

1. Herman 2. Chip K 3. Ed O 4. Art Briles 5. Larry F 6. Lane K 7. Bobby P I like this list even though Bobby and Art have effed up in the past it's not like they would need to cheat at LSU and Bobby would be happy here winning all the time. Both are great at evaluating QB talent. That's all LSU needs a good QB and a different offense. We don't even need to switch from a pro style imo just need more creativity with the pro style. Single back sets ect.

We have a great collection of asst.coaches. Keep Coach Eaux as HC and let him hire an OC/QB coach. Aranda takes care of defense

Id say you get rid of Peveto and go get Ron Zook for STC. Hell of a recruiter and coach.
