ESPN Draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. unveiled his NFL Mock Draft 1.0 on this week and has LSU safety Jamal Adam's going No. 4 overall to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
quote:

"Adams is built for today's NFL as a versatile safety who can play in the box effectively, make tackles against the run and move to the edges and track slot receivers. Jacksonville hit on a couple of defenders in the 2016 draft (Jalen Ramsey and Yannick Ngakoue; Myles Jack is still an unknown), but the Jags need more help."
Kiper Jr. has Leonard Fournette going No. 8 overall to the Carolina Panthers.
quote:

"This is really the first spot I see that could be a good fit for Fournette, barring a trade up. He's a special athlete with an incredible combination of size (6-1, 235), speed and power, but he won't get a grade as high as I gave Ezekiel Elliott last year. Elliott went No. 4 in 2016, but backs have been devalued in recent years -- he was the only back taken in the first round. Jonathan Stewart turns 30 this year and averaged only 3.8 yards per carry in 2016."

If Jacksonville drafts him Fournette will teach Benson and the Saints to never pass up LSU talent ever again??

Zeke better than LF7? A ten year old could run behind that cowboy O line!

So if you watch another NFL game, including saints or Superbowl, you are a hypocrite. Just remember that in two weeks when you watch the Superbowl.

Not living in LA makes it harder to keep up with the Tigers. Is there any talk about LF's ankle hurting his draft stock?

He's 100% healthy now. He recently ran a 4.3 40.

I think it would make more sense for the Jaguars to take Fournette at 4.

Hell yeah baby. Been saying this in a couple of threads. Not a stretch either. Coughlin absolutely loves RBs of LF's physical stature.

Agree with every post on here. Saints should trade their entire draft(deja vu) to get Fournette so Carolina won't stick it up their arse twice each year!

Saints and Payton hate LSU, they don't want LF7.

"...he won't get a grade as high as I gave Ezekiel Elliott last year." The frick why???

Zeke gets points for blitz pick ups and catching the ball. Not saying Fournette can't do it, just not as efficient as Zeke.

Garrett is most overrated player I've seen in a long time. Arden Key outplayed him every single week and has just as more upside. If Garrett is #1 the Key is #1 and it's not close.

Agree. I would take a.k. every day of the week over garret.

Fournette in Carolina would be an awesome fit for him but pretty terrible for saints fans
