ESPN dropped LSU down to No. 7 in their Week 3 SEC Power Rankings after Saturday's 37-7 loss to Mississippi State. The Tigers were No. 3 in the power rankings last week.

Mississippi State moved from No. 9 to No. 3 after the win over LSU. Per ESPN:
quote:

7. LSU (2-1): The Tigers take a tumble down the rankings after getting throttled by Mississippi State. LSU got beat up front (on both sides) and was sloppy (nine penalties, 112 yards), and the offense left much to be desired.

LSU was way too premature in promoting Orgeron as head coach. He is way too overrated.
