LSU announced Monday afternoon that redshirt freshman defensive tackle Trey Lealaimatafao has been dismissed from the football program. Per LSUSports.net:

“Trey is no longer a member of our football team,” Miles said. “We have gathered information on this incident and we feel it’s best for us to part ways.”

Lealaimatafao, a native of San Antonio, Texas, redshirted last year as a freshman with the Tigers. Miles said he will have no further comment on the matter.
Lealaimatafao’s dismissal stems from an off-campus incident which lead to him getting arrested two weeks ago.
