Miles said Thomas’ rehabilitation is “coming along very nicely” and that he “hopes” he can return for the spring. Thomas, who served as LSU’s nickel back before the injury, said he expects to return for spring practice.

He had surgery to repair the ACL tear in his right knee.

“I’ve been telling these guys, ‘I’ll be back. I’m coming back stronger and faster,’ ” Thomas said.
