Stevens, who arrived on campus as the No. 1 safety in the country for the class of 2017, made the switch to offense during fall camp. He played both offense and defense in high school.

The Murfreesboro, TN native has only played in one game so far this season, catching a 27-yard pass against Chattanooga.

This is just odd. Our safeties havent been great, so why not work him at what we said we were going to work him at and here he practiced for half a year??? Our WRs havent been great, so lets negate the past 5 weeks of cross-training and chalk that up to a waste of time. Now we'll try a new position for him to learn and maybe 5 weeks down the road when he gets that down, instead of playing him we'll switch positions again......wtf is this coaching staff doing

TE? Maybe they can get Trindon to come in and practice as a DE to give him some reps with a real dog.

If you line him up at tight end then you can get him mismatched on linebackers

Or get blown up when they switch plays at the line

Getting the best players on the field is a good thing. A 5 star prospect with good speed can be a game breaker for us. Even at another position.

Lol at TE. RB would be fine.

He's 6'2" & 216 lbs for anyone interested. Maybe they want another RB because Guice's injury may last a while. Maybe they want to give him a shot at receiving TE, but he doesn't appear to be big enough to function as a blocker.
