That guy says some of the dumbest things, i wouldn't take him serious at all. He's trying to get ratings for the Herd which averages 0.0 ratings.

How about you don't play this year and the pro's don't draft you until the 3rd round? Why because your judgement and competitiveness is now under question. Voluntarily quitting on your college will go over real well with NFL GMs and scouts. Not to mention other players doing the same type of thing in the future.

Two words. Marcus Lattimore. I get that people get mad when it's their guy........and I do NOT want LF to sit cause I want to watch him in P&G. But objectively, he should sit.

That argument would be very much valid if he didn't take out an insurance policy. I'm sure but now he has.

He was a shitty late night geek that talked non sports issues then got on the morning show here is Houston BY LUCK. Uses shock value to get clicks or people to follow him. That's how PAWL does it. It's not about what some hack thinks as its about shock and awe look and listen to me. Garbage.. That whole 610 crew is so far up the Texans arse they won't talk about what was real, we needed to fire Rick Smith the GM. It's all Bs here on that station.

Why is Fournette singled out??? Why not EVERYONE that WILL play in the NFL sit out?? I mean, why is Fournettes future earning potential so much more important then any other college athlete that will go pro?? Motherfrickers hate LSU that's why. frick his stupid arse opinion. fricking idiot.

I think it's because (a) he's incredible and (b) he's looked pro-ready - physically and mentally - for a while now.

I dont disagree. Sure, he'd make alot of fans angry, but he needs that big NFL contract. Dude has kids and stuff. Not like he's going to be an MD.
user avatar
His rookie contract won't be big. And another year won't hurt that second contract

Somebody knock this guy over the head and get him out of here. I think Leonard delivers more hits than the hits he receives.

Maybe LF actually loves LSU and pride in representing LSU and actually WANTS to play for the Tigers. Hard concept for these "shock" journalist that some people actually have pride in something.

So you are reacting to the reaction of others instead. Yep, makes perfect sense. Lol.

As an NFL fan, I agree. I would much rather him save his body for the big leagues.

Well, when he gets to the NFL and sprains his ankle you can advise him to sit out not play then. Until then, he is a college player and is on a team. In addition, this stupidity isn't coming from the NFL but some nimrod sports goof. Leonard Fournette isn't listening to this craziness. Hillarious.

@stripes My opinion has nothing to do with the sprained ankle. I don't like that these athletes are forced to play for essentially nothing for X amount of years. If they are good enough to go pro, they should be allowed to go pro. That is where there career is. That is where the money is. I understand why the NFL doesn't want it this way, but I would rather see Fournette on Sunday than on Saturday. If you gave Fournette the option, you think he would prefer college football?

Logical argument but I bet this guy has never played sports. LF7 is a champion and would never quit on his team.

Competitors compete....that's why they excel. The NFL doesn't want pussies who are afraid to play the game they are going to give them millions to play. Cause that's the same kind of a-hole who shuts it down after he gets that first huge contract

Maybe we should all jump off the Miss River Bridge when we turn 10 years old, we are all going to die sooner or later...

Dudes got a point? It's LF7s decision

No he doesn't. We're talking about Fournette! Do you think he needs this little punk to speak out for him. If he didn't want to play then he just wouldn't play. He's already said multiple times that he isn't going to sit out on his team. Time for these losers to drop it. This guy is just another SJW idiot who thinks his opinion is the only right opinion and anyone who thinks different is flat out wrong.
