Brandon Harris:
Obviously, it has been an important time for me, looking for a great situation and another opportunity to grow as a young man and as a student as well as a football player. The opportunity to accomplish that is very important to me. After my offical visit this weekend to the University of North Carolina, I'm going to get that opportunity. With that being said, I'm fully committed to UNC this upcoming year and I look forward to the opportunity to play for coach Fedora and UNC. Thank you, to all of those who have kept me in your prayers and continue to do so. I have to say that I haven't been this excited in a while and can't do anything but thank God and my wonderful family for their continued support. #godbless #tarhealnation

BR_raised87 must be the head of the Brandon Harris fan club. Dude, Harris sucks all by himself. I suppose you choose to overlook the fact that Orgeron, Ensminger, and Canada all wanted nothing to do with him? You obviously know more than they do. Don't think for a damn minute that Harris wasn't evaluated by Canada before Harris "decided to leave". In your simple mind these other coaches must not know anything either. Coaching is one thing but Harris has so many problems that he is never going to be a big time QB at the D1 level. It ain't gonna ever happen. Ever.

The only way you can be this much of a myopic, supercilious, vitriolic, hateful dickhead is it is in your DNA. Harris was fine by himself as evidenced by his all-time record-setting performances vs MSST & NMST scoring at the highest rate in the nation as a True Freshman. He was relegated to a supporting role in 2015 for LF7 and went 7-0 with no interceptions. When the shite hit the fan and ALA, ARK, OM shut down LF7 the line did not know how to pass block and Harris faced 3rd and 10+ on 50% of his dropbacks, plus he was injured. No difference in Harris skill-set and Deshaun Watson...Harris just got stuck at Smashmouth, predictable, Stone Age U. Orgeron and Ensminger did worse than Miles & Cameron when you consider that the SEC was the weakest in 2016 that it has been in 15 yrs after being the strongest in 2014 and 15. Canada got fired from NC State after a disappointing 3 yrs. His only 2 good yrs were his one year stints at WISC and at Pitt where he rejoined Narduzzi. So he has never 'built' a winner and he certainly did not have a chance to evaluate Harris.

You simply can't blame Miles for everything. You Harris lovers just watch him fall apart at UNC. What will you say then? Clemson and FSU will kill Harris and his eratic leadership will once again become obvious. Anyone expecting Harris to become some one year wonder is kidding themselves. Overrated is putting it mildly.

I just wish he would drop the thinly veiled role of victim here. He had every opportunity to prove himself on the field and he failed. I appreciate his commitment to LSU and it's unfortunate that it didn't work out for him with LSU as he is a home state kid, but c'mon.

He was trying to prove himself in the Miles system. A system that has made every QB except 2 look bad in the last 11 years.

absolutely correct; did not execute the playbook or a 10 yard route for a completion but i do wish him the best!

The kid is immature and a blow-hard, self promoter. His lack of leadership ability is obvious and is matched only by his total inability to throw an accurate pass to a wide open receiver on a crossing route. Harris is simply not a major college QB and never will be.

In a vacuum, maybe this hold water, but have you watched this team over the past 10 years? Every single QB with the exception of Mett regressed under Miles (minus those he inherited later in their eligibility). It is crystal clear that these guys were constantly coached to not screw up which caused them to get more and more gun shy as they got more experience. This is why crossing routes and other "higher risk" throws seemed impossible. Why don't we wish they guy well, he stuck with it as long as he could, but needed a clean start. How some of you forget how BH looked like a great QB when he was green and hadn't let the coaching get to his head yet.

Even if you don't like him, it's hard to fault a man for taking a step up in academics and forward in his career. I hope he has a successful career at UNC and after football.

Step up in academics? Oh, you must be referring to the African American program so many UNC athletes were taking.

FloridaMike "Even if you don't like him, it's hard to fault a man for taking a step up in academics and forward in his career. I hope he has a successful career at UNC and after football." There were many things that contributed to this need to move to another school, focusing on BH as the issue is unfair and not in touch with all realities of how he got to where he is.

Makes way more sense than Herman idiotically trying to bring him to Texas where he'd either ride pine or piss off the Buchelle family.

Good for him! He chose LSU when he could have gone to any number of schools instead and did his best while he was here. He represented our university with nothing but class. I truly wish him nothing but the best.

Nothing but class? When he got beat out for not performing worth a shite he boo-boo lipped on the sidelines. Pouted. Made disparaging remarks on social media. He did not represent the Tigers well once he lost his spot.

I wish him the best. I hope he gets the start. I am curious to see if it was him or the lousy offense the Cam hurled up. Personally, I think it was the system. If he starts, we'll find out soon enough.
