LSU kicker Colby Delahoussaye suffered minor injuries in a car accident that took the life of Nebraska punter Sam Foltz and former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler on Saturday night in Merton, Wisconsin.

Delahoussaye made his first public comment since the crash with this tweet on Tuesday night:

Was this an alcohol related death? I have heard nothing on that part.

No reports have indicated that. As a matter of fact, several have suggested that weather may have been the cause.

He was there for 2 camps. One he was a camper and the second I think I read he was a coach teaching others. Front seat guys died, he was in the back when they struck a tree

They were at a specialist camp. Not sure what the name of it was. They talked about it when news of the accident first went public. Prayers to everyone evolved as well as grieving loved ones. We might be rivals on the field, but we are all brothers and sisters in God's eyes. He required two more angels. Sam and Mike answered the call...
