Former LSU Basketball standout Randy Livingston will be joining Johhny Jones coaching staff, according to the University.

The New Orleans native played at LSU from 1994–1996 and was selected by the Houston Rockets in the 2nd round of the 1996 NBA Draft. He coached the NBA D-League Idaho Stampede from 2010-2012.

I watched him in HS play against Andre Brown at Vanderbilt, gym was jam packed and jelly tight. I don't think you could have fit another person in there. Newman ended up winning but it was a very close game.

One of the smartest basketball players I've ever seen play. Too bad he hurt his knee the summer before his freshman season at LSU, so people that did not get A chance to watch him in high school has no idea who's the real Randy Livingston was as a player. He believe made it in the NBA for about five years and could barely run up and down the floor. Welcome home Randy you are a true Louisiana high school basketball legend that I've seen with my own eyes
