Per LSUSports.net: AUBURN, Ala. - The LSU men's basketball team kept the game close until the final seconds as Auburn took a 78-74 victory Wednesday in Auburn Arena.

With the win, Auburn improved to 12-6 and 2-4 in conference play while LSU fell to 9-8 and 1-5 in the SEC.

Aaron Epps recorded his second career double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds.

Someone please explain to me why JJ is still the damn basketball coach of this university. Alleva stop being such a moron and having this good ole boy mentality. This is pathetic! JJ sucks!

I think it's because we don't have anyone on our coaching staff who is any better. And that's saying something! I don't think a move will be made until the end of the season. I would hope Alleva would go after a big name coach, if available. But for some reason, LSU has never put an emphasis on the basketball program. Plus, the big name coaches usually stay where they are at. That being said, this season is over and so is JJ's tenure. Come on baseball!
