Former Kentucky QB Jared Lorenzen has always been known as a big boy at his position. After leaving college he went on to play for the Indianapolis Colts and New York Giants, but later saw his weight ballon to 500 pounds. The worst thing in his career was that he took pride in being an extremely large and athletic individual. For his size he was a freak athlete. If he could have been normal playing sizes he potentially could have been something big time.

Let me get this straight. He's been involved in an athletic and physical sport for most of his life and his weight has continued to go up. Now he's done playing, and he decides now is the time to lose weight...Makes sense

I always liked him when he was at Kentucky. He did a lot of things a guy his size shouldn't have been able to do. He also had a good attitude. And he was 0-3 against LSU.

Obesity is the one of the number 1 killers in the US, it should be identified as a disease and given the same attention. Until you have lived with or been through you have no idea how it can take over and destroy a life. Remember, nobody over 500 pounds wants to be 500 pounds, they all want to be 175.
