Georgia AD Apologizes For Buying Ludacris Liquor, Condoms, Etc.
Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports
Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity is having regrets about about paying rapper Ludacris $65,000 and giving him a laundry list of things he requested that included liquor and condoms, to play the Bulldogs Spring Game for less than 15 minutes. I don't blame him...
quote:

“Few things in my professional life have bothered me more than this situation,” McGarity said.

“I do want to take this opportunity to apologize to our board for mistakes we made with certain aspects of the details of an entertainment agreement,” McGarity said. “There are no reruns in life so we need to turn the page, learn from our mistakes and do everything we can to make sure errors of this nature do not reoccur.”

The world has turned completely upside down when an institution of higher learning hires a Ludicris to play for its student body. No wonder McGarity is regretful.

But he didn't apologize for giving him that blow job.

Nah. LSU is happy to just have Cowboy Mouth play at every event until the end of time.

That whole situation pissed me off to no end. It was a clusterfrick from the get go. A big-name pre-game concert was being hyped for at least a month prior to the game. Then, the week of, the Atheltics department comes out and says that there will be no concert as the logistics weren't feasible (the time frame between when the players leave the field after warm ups and return to the field for the game was too short). How in the frick does that even happen? Isn't that step 1 to make sure that it's even possible? After the Cancellation, the fans understandably are upset. Athletics freaks out and rushes to get the first big name they can find and pay a kings ransom for it.

$65,000 is a kings ransom?

The AD is sub par. We need an upgrade.

Giving Ludacris whiskey dick and prophylactics -- how can anyone fault the Georgia AD for doing his part in keeping Ludacris from reproducing?
