Everybody knows that dads abandoning their kids is screwing everything up, but what are we doing about it as a society? Jack shite. Kudos to this dad. Raise your kids!

If More black boys were as lucky as this is kid, you'd be amazed how race problems and crime in this country would improve. Good video.

Great move dad. People are too anal about smoking today when less people smoke but cancer rates have gone up. Back to the point. He has a great father who puts his kids first. These are the men that America is too void of.

To knock the guy for a cigarette is missing the point. He shouldn't win a medal for being there as his dad, but he is.....there, which is extremely important.

A dad that smokes is better than no dad. My dad passed away when I was 2. I wish I had a dad to share things like that. He could have been a Crack addict for all I care. As long as he was alive and there.

Yes. Lets applaud the dad for making the kid miserable on purpose for his own amusement. Yay.

As a local and federal "cop" in NOLA since 1998 if more men would be like this guy the city would be a hell of a lot better. Who gives a damn if he is a smoker?! Nothing better than people nitpicking a moment....of course you a$$holes are perfect right?

This is the kind of parent people want to see in the black community. Not only is he present in the kid's life, he's taking him to baseball and doing what a dad should. Most importantly, he is letting that boy know he is loved. That kid will grow to be a productive member of society. Wish we saw more of this.

Amen, man.
